The Arrival

My Father often tells the story of my arrival to this realm. He and mom were living on the island of Oahu, Hawaii and were enjoying a house party when Momma decided She was ready to go home and rest. However, soon as they got home, Mama’s water broke and soon after that, I was born. Upon returning home with me, Dad carried me over to the sound system, turned up the music, and said

“ This is how we get down here ” - Marcel Benton

He says Marvin Gaye was playing and as I rocked in his arms, he introduced me to the vibration of good music for the first time outside of my mother’s womb.

I often think about how my Parents’ love for good fun and great music afforded me a powerful tool to maintain my peace and power. Scientific studies support the knowing that music is medicine for the whole body, from the cells to the nervous system and everything in between. I find music to also be a masterful meditation tool with the type of music we consume having a great impact on how we vibrate our innerg within and without into the world around us.

The Growth

I have grown a bit since my arrival and my introduction to good music. Now in addition to enjoying - I sing and write songs from my heart that Dear Souls like you can feel.

In addition to creating studio recorded music, I also create in-the-moment music with Dear Souls of all ages, cultures, creeds, and abilities through an experience called A Drum Circle.

A Higher Perspective…

In these experiences I have witnessed families, friends, and even complete strangers come together and enjoy the improv of creating live music together. I also do my best to guide to group with breathing exercises and meditations on gratitude. I find that no matter what may be tossed at me while in this circle of life, gratitude has a way of lifting my vibration all the way up and beyond the clouds. While up there I find ease in connecting with that vibe known by many names, the vibe that is the plug for all vibes, the vibe of the Most High.
