Soundtracking Our Story
From Pouring Libations to Leading the Band let’s Celebrate Black Brilliance
Do you love what you feel?
I do, and I consider it gift to be busy as a bee planting seeds in the garden of my hearts desire. Check out what I’ve been up to and learn when and where you can meet me next to join in the AbundaFUN.
Bricks Laid
At the close of 2025, a call to Kasey Haessler who serves as the regional programming librarian of Live Oak Libraries laid the foundation for not only more sound healing circles for this region but also one to celebrate the reopening of a space that has served Savannah’s black and brilliant community for over a century.

But wait…there’s more!
To add to the amazing I was also asked to lead the community in the libation offering just before the ribbon was cut to reintroduce the newly renovated space with a reimagined purpose. All who were present and watching from home knew what a moment it was to open the way for the Carnegie Library Heritage Center.

The Good News Continues…
Celebrating the culture and brilliance of blackness continued as I was spotted leading the DPI Corporate Band during the 4th Annual Black History Program in Port Wentworth held at Rice Creek K-8 school. We shared our rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing as well as cover songs that got the party started. It was such a fun experience and I look forward to seeing this program grow for years to come.

And the Beat Goes On…
After stepping off stage, I jetted to the 4th Annual Black Arts Expo to hug my parents and celebrate Mom as she was featured once again as a vendor for her hand-crafted jewelry creations.
