Mind your Garden
A Prose
Inspired by the sweetness of the spring season, I've found myself spending more time outside tending to the sanctuary…also known as the garden.
Now I am no Martha Stuart, but I am my mother's first born daughter. And as abunda azaleas bloom here in sunny Savannah Ga, they whisper sweet reminders to tend to my roots and to recall the days of my youth.
As I ponder I remember how I've always adored spending quality time in nature. In my first publication, Abundaverse The Remedy, I explain this experience in more detail however my overall sentiment is simple.
“ Nature is and has always been my greatest inspiration. ”
As I rose into a today, I chose to put on a good word as channeled by the late, great, Reverend Ike. I love his teachings and humorous approach to christ consciousness. Recently my Mother let me know that her great grandma was also a lover of Reverend Ike’s lessons. I suppose the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Today as I listened with dirt up to my elbows, I pondered on how magical the garden is. No wonder it was one of the first things God created. And as I mature, I see how the garden in addition to being a delightful space for divine insight, it is also an eternal metaphor for the mind. In this age of information, there are infinite things we can be aware of. Today I chose to simplify my thoughts and recall the wonder of planting a seed in soil while the birds serenaded me into a new day.
I have found great benefit in the practice of tending to my garden both physically ( the one in my yard ) and mentally ( the one between my ears ) insuring that I sew seeds in alignment with that which I desire to see harvest. This practice of simply focusing in on my own garden blesses me with abunda confirmation that enjoying a healthy and fulfilling life really can be simple.
This is the way and in this way I find the remedy.

What about you Dear Soul?
How is your garden? Are you planting any house plants or veggies? Are you gathering any good seeds from good books of wisdom?
Whether you choose to get your hands dirty, or tune your ear to Reverend Ike’s guidance, one truth unites us. We all depend on several someone's sewing seeds and gathering the good harvest for generations to come. I just pray that a seed from my life garden can inspire you to be a good steward of your own.
Need inspiration?
I encourage you to check out the Abundaverse Chakra Mediations guide where I walk you through my process of prayerful seed sewing.
As always I thankh you for tuning in…
Peace and Power Dear Soul.

I’ve been enjoying the garden AND also, angry at the pollen. I’m definitely not letting it stop me from being outside. Such a blessing to be able and willing to invest time/energy in garden. Playing in dirt does something to my soil. I had no complaints until I got home and the environmental issues started. 🤦🏽♀️ so excited about your garden!!!
